Below is a short bio of us and a bit of the Metcalf’s background in music.  They are committed to teaching music to students of all ages and abilities.
 
Donna and John have been married since 1988 and attend Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Sinking Spring, PA.  Why are we members in a church so far away from Blandon?  The answer is simple.  The church is amazing and the music is outstanding. 

DR. JOHN METCALF

John  has been a member of the music faculty at Kutztown University since moving to Pennsylvania in 1990.  At KU, he teaches applied music (lessons) in trombone, euphonium and tubas performance as well as lessons in music composition.  Dr. Metcalf performs regularly in the area and has seen his students make County, District, Region, All-State and All-Eastern Bands.

DONNA METCALF

Donna’s background in music includes graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, a Bachelors Degree in trumpet performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music (Ohio), and a Masters Degree  in Trumpet from Louisiana State University.  
In Pennsylvania, she performs regularly in the area and maintains a very active trumpet studio for performers at all levels of experience and ability.
